Privacy Policy
[LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED]
This policy explains what we do with your personal data. We have tried to keep it readable.
Who we are
The controller of your personal data is Quantum Software Technologies Ltd, trading as Elqorvane, company number 14209581, 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. We operate the Elqorvane website. Contact us at [email protected].
What we collect
- Registration details: first name, last name, email address, phone number and the country dial code you choose.
- Consent records: the date and time you consented, the version of the wording, your country, plus a one-way hash of your IP address and browser.
- Technical data: your approximate country, taken by our network provider from your IP address so we can apply country restrictions. We do not use it to profile you.
- Analytics data: only if you accept analytics cookies.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To keep you informed about early access and to tell you when registration opens. Basis: your consent.
- To keep a record of your consent, so we can prove it. Basis: legal obligation and our legitimate interest in defending claims.
- To stop abuse, including rate-limiting and country restrictions. Basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and lawful.
- To measure visits with analytics, only if you accept. Basis: your consent.
Who receives your data
While registration is closed, your details go only to our customer-management (CRM) system, a service provider that stores them for us. We send it your name, email address, phone number, IP address, country and the time you joined the list, over an encrypted connection. We do not pass your details to any broker or call centre. If registration opens and you choose to go further, we will tell you which broker would receive your details before you share them with it. We also use hosting and network providers who process data on our behalf, and, if you accept analytics, Google Analytics. We do not sell your data.International transfers
Your details may be handled outside your country, including by brokers in other countries. Where UK or EU law requires safeguards for transfers, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep registration details for as long as needed to pass them on and to deal with your enquiry. If you do not proceed, we delete them within a period that is no longer than necessary. We keep consent records for as long as we may need to show that you consented, and no longer than the law requires or allows.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, delete or move your data, object to its use, and withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect what happened before. Email [email protected]. These rights come from laws including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, the Australian Privacy Act 1988, the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, Canada's PIPEDA and Singapore's PDPA, as they apply to you. If we cannot resolve your concern, you can complain to the regulator, such as the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner in Canada or New Zealand, or the PDPC in Singapore.
Withdrawing consent, and do-not-call
You can withdraw consent to us passing on your data, opt out of emails, or ask not to be phoned, at any time. Email us, and tell the broker too, as it holds its own record. We honour opt-outs and do-not-call requests, and we ask brokers to do the same.
Cookies and similar storage
We use essential browser storage to remember your cookie choice. Our country check does not set a cookie. Google Analytics, with consent, sets analytics cookies, and loads only after you accept. Cloudflare Turnstile loads when you start filling in the form, to check you are a person. You can change your choice any time with Cookie settings in the footer.
Security
Our website uses TLS 1.3. Form submissions are rate-limited and checked on our server. Records are stored outside the public web folder. No system is perfectly secure, so we collect only what the form needs: your name, email address and phone number. We do not ask for passwords, bank details or identity documents on this website; the broker collects those through its own secure process.
Automated decisions
We do not make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects by purely automated means. Country restrictions are applied automatically from your approximate location, and if you think one has been applied wrongly, email us and a person will look at it.
Third-party websites
This site links to registers, regulators and broker documents. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
Children
This service is for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update this page and the consent wording version. The version in force when you registered is recorded with your consent.
